Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  1. As a Side Dish: Serve this Broccoli Apple Salad alongside grilled chicken, fish, or any protein of your choice for a balanced meal.
  2. On a Bed of Greens: For a more substantial salad, serve it on a bed of mixed greens or spinach leaves.
  3. Picnics and Potlucks: This salad travels well, making it ideal for picnics, potlucks, and barbecues.
  4. Garnish Options: Sprinkle some extra chopped pecans or dried cranberries on top before serving for added texture and flavor.

Storage Tips:

  1. Refrigeration: Store any leftover salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep well for up to 2-3 days.
  2. Dressing Separation: If the salad seems dry after refrigeration, stir in a tablespoon of mayonnaise or yogurt to freshen it up.
  3. Make-Ahead: You can prepare the salad and dressing separately up to a day in advance. Combine them just before serving to maintain the salad’s freshness and crunch.
  4. Freezing: This salad is not suitable for freezing due to the fresh ingredients and dressing.
