Peanut Butter Hot Fudge

  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

Peanut Butter Hot Fudge is a rich, creamy, and indulgent sauce that combines smooth chocolate with classic peanut butter. Ready in just 10 minutes, it is perfect for drizzling over ice cream, brownies, fresh fruit, pancakes, or your favorite dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (168 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup (64 g) creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add the sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and peanut butter to a medium saucepan.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir frequently as the chocolate melts.
  4. Continue stirring until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  6. Add the butter and vanilla extract.
  7. Stir until the butter has completely melted and everything is well combined.
  8. Serve warm over ice cream, brownies, fruit, or your favorite dessert.
  9. For storage, allow the sauce to cool completely before transferring it to a sealed jar.

Notes

  •  Serve the hot fudge warm for the smoothest, most pourable consistency.
  • Drizzle it over vanilla, chocolate, or peanut butter ice cream.
  • Spoon it over brownies, cakes, cheesecakes, or pancakes.
  • Add chopped peanuts or chocolate chips on top for extra texture.
  • Use it as a dip for strawberries, bananas, apple slices, or other fresh fruit.
  • If the sauce becomes too thick, gently reheat it over low heat.
  • Avoid overheating because excessive heat can cause the chocolate to become grainy.
  • Store completely cooled fudge in an airtight jar or container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Reheat small portions gently in the microwave or in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir well after reheating to restore its smooth consistency.
