- 1 can or jar Manwich sloppy joe sauce
- 1–1½ cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
- ½–1 cup queso
- 1–2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed
- Diced tomatoes
- Sour cream, for drizzling
Instructions
- Bake the frozen fries according to the package directions until golden and crispy.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Stir in the Manwich sloppy joe sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Spread the crispy fries evenly over a large sheet pan.
- Spoon the sloppy joe mixture over the fries.
- Warm the queso and drizzle it evenly over the beef and fries.
- Sprinkle the crushed Doritos and shredded Colby Jack cheese over the top.
- Bake at 375°F for 5–8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Add diced tomatoes, more crushed Doritos, and a drizzle of sour cream.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
- Serve these fries immediately for the best combination of crispy fries, melted cheese, and crunchy Doritos.
- Add sour cream just before serving so the fries do not become soggy.
- Serve with extra queso or sloppy joe sauce on the side for dipping.
- For a party, prepare the beef mixture ahead of time and assemble the fries just before baking.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat leftovers in an oven or air fryer to help restore some of the crispiness.
- Avoid microwaving when possible because the fries can become soft.
