Notes

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve this Homemade Salsa as a vibrant appetizer alongside crispy tortilla chips for dipping.
  • Use it as a topping for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or nachos to add a burst of fresh flavor.
  • Incorporate it into your favorite Mexican-inspired dishes for an extra kick of taste.
  • Customize the salsa by adding diced avocado, mango, or pineapple for a tropical twist.
  • Garnish with additional cilantro leaves or a slice of lime for a fresh finishing touch.

Storage Recommendations:

  • Store any leftover salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Before serving leftovers, give the salsa a quick stir to redistribute the flavors.
  • Avoid freezing the salsa as the texture may become watery upon thawing due to the high moisture content of the tomatoes.
  • If you plan to make a larger batch for future use, consider doubling or tripling the recipe and storing it in multiple containers for convenient access.
  • Enjoy the homemade salsa at its freshest, but rest assured that it maintains its delicious taste even after a few days in the refrigerator.
