Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cut in half lengthwise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create four thin cutlets
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat
- Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside, keeping warm
- Lower heat slightly and add flour and garlic to the same skillet
- Cook for about 1 minute while stirring constantly
- Pour in chicken broth or wine and whisk until smooth and slightly reduced
- Add heavy cream and simmer gently until sauce thickens
- Stir in parmesan cheese until fully melted and creamy
- Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving
