Creamy Fruit Custard Bowl is a simple, refreshing, and colorful dessert made with thick vanilla custard and a mix of fresh seasonal fruits. It is smooth, naturally sweet, and perfect for hot days, family gatherings, or as a light after-meal treat. The combination of creamy custard and juicy fruits makes it both nutritious and satisfying for all ages.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar
  • Strawberries (chopped)
  • Banana slices
  • Red grapes
  • Green grapes
  • Orange segments
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a pan over medium flame until warm.
  2. In a small bowl, mix custard powder with a little cold milk to form a smooth paste.
  3. Add the custard mixture into the warm milk while stirring continuously.
  4. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens into a creamy custard.
  5. Add sugar and mix well until fully dissolved.
  6. Remove from heat and let the custard cool completely.
  7. Add all chopped fruits into the cooled custard.
  8. Mix gently so the fruits remain intact and well coated.
  9. Transfer into serving bowls.
  10. Garnish with mint leaves and extra fruits on top.

Notes

  • Serve chilled for the best taste and texture.
  • Keep in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours before serving for a thicker consistency.
  • Consume within 24 hours for freshness, especially due to fresh fruits.
  • Do not freeze as it may change the texture of custard and fruits.
  • Add fruits just before serving if preparing custard in advance.
