Filled with melty brie, blueberry preserves, and topped with honey, these easy appetizers are perfect for parties, holiday gatherings, or whenever you want an impressive snack that’s ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1012 jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 68 ounces brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/3 cup blueberry preserves or fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Arrange the jalapeño halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Place a cube of brie inside each jalapeño half.
  5. Add a small spoonful of blueberry preserves or a few fresh blueberries on top of the cheese.
  6. Drizzle lightly with honey.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts or pecans, lemon zest, and a pinch of sea salt if using.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the brie is melted and the jalapeños are slightly tender.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley.
  10. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Serve warm for the creamiest melted brie texture.
  • Pair with crackers or toasted baguette slices.
  • Arrange on a charcuterie board for an elegant appetizer.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5–8 minutes.
  • Avoid microwaving if possible, as the jalapeños may become soft.
  • Do not freeze after baking, as the texture of the brie may change.
  • Prepare the poppers ahead of time and refrigerate before baking for easy entertaining.
