Description

Apple Cinnamon Loaf is a soft, buttery quick bread packed with warm cinnamon flavor and tender apple pieces. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack, this homemade loaf is easy to prepare and fills your kitchen with an irresistible aroma while baking.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; set aside.
  4. Beat white sugar and butter until light and creamy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  8. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
  9. Pour in milk and mix until smooth.
  10. Spread half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  11. Add half of the chopped apples over the batter.
  12. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  13. Gently press the apples into the batter.
  14. Add the remaining batter over the apple layer.
  15. Top with the remaining apples and cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  16. Lightly press apples into the batter.
  17. Swirl the cinnamon mixture through the top using a spoon or knife.
  18. Bake for 30–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  19. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Serve warm with coffee, tea, or hot cider.
  • Add a light dusting of powdered sugar before serving.
  • Spread with butter or cream cheese for extra richness.
  • Enjoy as a breakfast loaf or dessert.
  • Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
