Notes
- Serve Agege Bread warm with butter, margarine, jam, honey, or your favorite spread.
- Enjoy it with eggs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or Nigerian-style breakfast dishes.
- Use slices for sandwiches with eggs, chicken, tuna, cheese, or vegetables.
- Allow the bread to cool completely before storing to prevent excess moisture.
- Store the bread in an airtight container or bread bag at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, wrap the loaf tightly in plastic wrap or foil and freeze for up to 2–3 months.
- Slice the bread before freezing so you can remove only the amount you need.
- Thaw frozen bread at room temperature or warm individual slices gently before serving.
- Avoid storing homemade bread in the refrigerator unless necessary, as refrigeration can make it become stale faster.
