  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

Strawberry Cheesecake Salad is a dreamy dessert that combines the irresistible flavors of creamy cheesecake, fresh strawberries, and fluffy marshmallows. This recipe is a crowd-pleaser at any gathering and can be made in just minutes. With its rich texture and fruity sweetness, it’s the perfect addition to any potluck, family dinner, or summer barbecue.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 small package (3.4 ounces) cheesecake pudding powder
  • 2 cups strawberry yogurt (about 3 containers, 6 ounces each)
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 3 bananas, sliced

Optional Substitute for Whipped Topping and Cheesecake Pudding Powder:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the strawberry yogurt and cheesecake pudding powder until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. Cover and refrigerate for about one hour to allow the mixture to set.
  3. Just before serving, add the sliced strawberries, marshmallows, and bananas. Gently fold to combine. Keep the salad refrigerated until ready to serve.
  4. For the substitution: In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and heavy whipping cream until creamy and stiff peaks form. Fold in the yogurt, strawberries, marshmallows, and bananas before serving.

Notes

Serve your Strawberry Cheesecake Salad chilled for the best texture and flavor. This dessert is ideal for picnics, potlucks, BBQs, and family dinners. It tastes best when eaten fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For the freshest taste, add the strawberries and bananas just before serving to prevent them from becoming mushy or discolored. Avoid freezing, as it will alter the creamy consistency of the salad. If preparing ahead of time, mix the creamy base first and fold in the fruits right before serving.
