This homemade steak marinade turns any budget-friendly steak into a juicy, tender, and flavorful meal. Perfect for grilling, pan-searing, or broiling, it’s made with simple pantry ingredients and takes just 5 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until evenly mixed.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Place steaks in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the bag and rub the marinade around the steaks to coat evenly.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
- Discard any excess used marinade before cooking.
- Cook steaks using your preferred method: grilling, pan-searing, or broiling.
