Snickers Salad

  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

Snickers Salad is the ultimate no-bake dessert that combines the crisp freshness of apples with the rich, chocolatey goodness of Snickers bars. This recipe is creamy, crunchy, and irresistibly sweet—perfect for any potluck, party, or family gathering. The best part is how simple it is to make. In just a few minutes, you can create a treat that tastes like a candy bar in salad form. The combination of Cool Whip, vanilla pudding, caramel, and chocolate makes every bite absolutely heavenly.

Ingredients

  • 2 green apples, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 red apples, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 6 king-size Snickers bars (or 12 snack-size Snickers bars)
  • 1 container instant vanilla pudding mix (5 ounces, not prepared)
  • 12 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine Cool Whip and the dry pudding mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Chop the Snickers bars and apples into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add the chopped apples and Snickers to the whipped topping mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the salad to a serving dish and drizzle with caramel sauce and chocolate syrup.
  5. Sprinkle the top with chopped peanuts for added crunch.
  6. Chill the salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.

Notes

    • Serving: Snickers Salad tastes best when chilled. Serve it cold as a dessert or sweet side dish for potlucks, BBQs, or family dinners. You can garnish it with extra caramel drizzle or chocolate syrup just before serving for a beautiful presentation.
    • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The apples may release moisture over time, so stir gently before serving again.
    • Make Ahead: Prepare the Cool Whip and pudding mixture ahead of time, then add the chopped apples and Snickers right before serving to keep everything fresh and crisp.
    • Freezing: Avoid freezing, as the whipped topping and apples will lose their texture once thawed.
