  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter

For the Chocolate and Caramel Layer:

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate chips, melted

For Decoration:

  • Crushed Snickers bars
  • Whole or halved Snickers bars
  • Additional caramel and chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Mix crushed Snickers bars, graham cracker crumbs, and melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
    • Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer:
    • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
    • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and peanut butter until creamy.
    • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
    • Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 50-55 minutes until the center is set. Let it cool completely.
  3. Add the Chocolate and Caramel Layer:
    • Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce over the cooled cheesecake.
    • Drizzle or spread melted chocolate over the caramel.
    • Use a toothpick or knife to create a marbled effect.
    • Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  4. Decorate:
    • Garnish the top with crushed Snickers bars and additional caramel and chocolate drizzle.
    • Arrange whole or halved Snickers bars around the edge for a stunning presentation.

Tips for Success:

  • Freeze Snickers bars before crushing to make them easier to handle.
  • Adding graham cracker crumbs to the crust ensures stability.
  • Consider using a water bath or cooling the cheesecake gradually to prevent cracks.

Notes

  1. Serving Suggestions:
    • For an elegant presentation, slice the Snickers Cheesecake with a sharp, clean knife.
    • Serve each slice on a dessert plate, garnished with extra caramel and chocolate drizzle for added indulgence.
    • Pair the cheesecake with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream to balance the richness of the dessert.
    • Accompany with a hot cup of coffee or a refreshing glass of milk for the perfect finishing touch.
  2. Storage Recommendations:
    • Store any leftover cheesecake in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
    • Ensure the cheesecake is completely cooled before covering to prevent condensation.
    • Consume within 3-4 days for the best taste and texture.
    • Alternatively, you can freeze individual slices of cheesecake in freezer-safe containers for longer storage. Wrap each slice tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil before freezing. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
  3. Reheating Instructions:
    • If serving chilled cheesecake, allow it to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
    • If desired, you can lightly warm individual slices in the microwave for a few seconds or in a preheated oven at a low temperature until just warmed through.
    • Be cautious not to overheat, as this may cause the cheesecake to become too soft.
