Ingredients

  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
  • 6 drops green food coloring

Toppings/Add-ins (Optional)

  • Whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Crushed chocolate cookies

Instructions

  1. Scoop the vanilla ice cream into a blender.
  2. Pour in the milk, then add mint extract and green food coloring.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  4. Adjust the texture by adding more ice cream for thickness or more milk for a thinner consistency.
  5. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream, cherries, and crushed cookies if desired.

Notes

  • Serve Immediately: Shamrock Shakes are best enjoyed right after blending for maximum creaminess.

  • Chill Your Glasses: For an extra-cold treat, place your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving.

  • Consistency Tip: If your shake is too thick, blend in a splash more milk until it reaches the desired texture.

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 24 hours. Reblend with a little milk before serving.

  • Presentation Idea: Add chocolate syrup drizzles inside the glass or crushed cookies around the rim for a festive touch.
