Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups (180 g) extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup (60 g) mayonnaise
  • ½ cup (4 ounces) jarred pimento, finely diced (approximately 4 ounces drained weight)
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix with a spatula or hand mixer on low speed until smooth and well combined.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and finely diced pimentos until evenly distributed.
  3. Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
  5. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  6. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.
