  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

Peanut Butter Fudge is the ultimate treat for peanut butter lovers. This creamy, melt-in-your-mouth fudge combines the richness of butter, the smooth texture of peanut butter, and the sweetness of powdered sugar. Best of all, it’s an easy, no-fuss recipe that requires no candy thermometer and just five simple ingredients. Perfect for holidays, parties, or as a homemade gift, this classic fudge is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet cravings in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups unsalted butter
  • 1 ¼ cups creamy peanut butter
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8 x 8-inch baking dish by buttering it or lining it with parchment paper, leaving extra parchment over the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring occasionally until smooth. Bring to a gentle boil, then remove from heat.
  3. Stir in salt and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  4. Add powdered sugar and stir vigorously until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and lump-free.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly using the back of a spoon.
  6. Cover the top with plastic wrap and gently press down. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
  7. Once chilled, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut it into squares.

Notes

    • Serving: For best flavor and texture, let the fudge sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving. This softens it slightly and enhances the peanut butter aroma. Serve in small bite-sized squares for easy snacking or on a dessert platter alongside chocolate or vanilla fudge for variety.
    • Storage: Store leftover fudge in an airtight container. Keep it at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
    • Freezing: You can freeze Peanut Butter Fudge for longer storage. Wrap each piece in parchment paper, place in an airtight container, and freeze for up to 2 months. To serve, thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
    • Tip: Avoid storing in humid environments, as moisture can affect the texture and make it sticky.
