  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

If you’re craving something warm, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying without spending hours in the kitchen, these Ooey-Gooey Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are exactly what you need. This easy, family-friendly recipe combines tender shredded chicken, rich cream cheese, melted mozzarella, and bold garlic flavors all wrapped in a golden, crispy tortilla. It’s a perfect go-to option for busy weeknights, quick lunches, or anytime you want a comforting meal packed with flavor. These wraps deliver everything you love about cheesy, garlicky comfort food in a handheld form that’s simple to prepare and impossible to resist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, minced garlic, and parsley. Mix well.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Lay out the tortillas and evenly distribute the chicken mixture onto each tortilla.
  4. Roll the tortillas tightly to form wraps.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve these cheesy garlic chicken wraps fresh off the skillet for the best texture and flavor. Pair them with a simple side salad, roasted vegetables, fries, or a bowl of tomato soup. For extra indulgence, add a drizzle of ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara sauce. These wraps are also great sliced into smaller pieces for party platters or appetizers.

Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in a skillet or air fryer to restore crispiness. Avoid microwaving if possible, as it can make the tortillas soggy. The chicken mixture (before cooking the wraps) can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for 2–3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw before assembling.
