Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

- 1/8 cup onion, minced
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 4 slices bread
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, egg, mustard, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and minced onion.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Add the bread crumbs and mix again until the mixture holds together.
- Shape the mixture into an oval loaf and place it in a 4Γ8 baking pan.
- Spread a little additional BBQ sauce over the top of the loaf.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake for about 45 minutes or until the meatloaf is fully cooked.

- Butter one side of each slice of bread.

- Place slices of meatloaf on top of the cheese to cover the bread.
- Add another slice of cheese over the meatloaf.
- Place the second slice of bread on top with the buttered side facing up.
- Cook until the bottom bread becomes golden and crispy.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve warm.
