Ingredients

  • 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir frequently until they’re completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and quickly stir in the Lucky Charms cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
  5. Spoon the cereal mixture into the pan and gently spread it out using a spatula.
  6. Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour, or until set.
  7. Cut into squares or bars and serve.

Notes

    • Storage: Keep treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
    • Avoid refrigeration: Refrigerating them can make the marshmallows hard.
    • Prevent sticking: Line your container with wax or parchment paper between layers.
    • Softness trick: Place a slice of bread in the container to help retain moisture.
    • Serving suggestion: Cut them into fun shapes using cookie cutters for parties.
    • To-go idea: Wrap individual bars in plastic wrap for easy lunchbox or picnic snacks.
    • Presentation: Drizzle melted chocolate or white chocolate for a polished finish.
    • For a clean cut: Use a buttered or non-stick sprayed knife when slicing.
    • Reheat tip: If they start to harden, microwave a piece for 5–7 seconds to soften.
    • Freezing: Not recommended — it alters the chewy texture.
