Description

If you’re looking for a festive and easy Halloween treat, this Halloween Monster Munch Popcorn Mix is the perfect recipe. Made with a blend of salty pretzels, crunchy popcorn, and colorful Halloween candy, it’s all brought together with a drizzle of vibrant vanilla candy melts. Whether you’re throwing a Halloween bash or preparing spooky movie night snacks, this no-bake mix is a hit with kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • ½ cup candy corn
  • 1 cup Halloween-colored M&Ms
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces
  • 2 cups vanilla-flavored melting wafers
  • ½ cup candy eyeballs
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Orange, purple, and green food coloring

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine popcorn, candy corn, M&Ms, and broken pretzels. Mix well.
  • Spread the mixture evenly on a lipped baking sheet.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the vanilla-flavored melting wafers by microwaving for 30 seconds, stirring, then heating in 15-second intervals until smooth.
  • Divide the melted candy into three bowls: keep one white, and color the other two with orange, green, and purple food coloring.
  • Drizzle each colored candy melt over the popcorn mixture in thin streams to create a colorful design.
  • Immediately sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles and candy eyeballs.
  • Let the mixture set at room temperature for about 30 minutes or until hardened.
  • Break into clusters and serve in a bowl or package for Halloween treats.

Notes

Serving Tips

  • Serve in large bowls at Halloween parties for a colorful snack table centerpiece.
  • Portion into clear treat bags tied with festive ribbons for party favors or trick-or-treat giveaways.
  • Create individual paper cups or mini cauldrons for guests to grab and enjoy without sharing from the main bowl.
  • Pair with hot chocolate, apple cider, or other fall drinks for a cozy seasonal treat.

Storage Tips

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days to keep the popcorn crunchy.
  • Avoid storing in the refrigerator, as moisture can make the popcorn stale.
  • If making ahead for a party, prepare the mix a day in advance and store in a sealed container until ready to serve.
  • For longer storage, keep ingredients separate and mix just before serving to preserve freshness.
