Description

If you’re looking for a quick, mouthwatering, and satisfying recipe that brings together the bold flavors of garlic, melted cheese, and juicy chicken, these Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are your new go-to. Whether you need a fast dinner, a savory lunch, or a meal-prep option for the week, these wraps come together with minimal effort and maximum taste. The buttery golden crisp paired with melty mozzarella makes every bite irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 3.5 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

  • 6 large flour tortillas

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing the wraps)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, and mayonnaise.

  • Add minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

  • Lay out the tortillas and divide the chicken mixture evenly among them.

  • Roll each tortilla tightly into a wrap.

  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Brush each wrap with melted butter.

  • Place the wraps seam side down and cook until golden and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  • Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

Serving Tips:

  • Serve the wraps immediately after pan-toasting for the best cheesy, crispy texture.

  • Pair them with fresh sides like a green salad, coleslaw, or roasted veggies for a balanced meal.

  • Offer dipping sauces such as ranch, garlic aioli, marinara, or spicy mayo for added flavor.

  • Cut them in halves or thirds for party appetizers or lunchbox-friendly portions.

  • For extra crunch, serve alongside chips, sweet potato fries, or pickles.

Storage Tips:

  • Refrigeration: Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

  • Freezing: Wrap uncooked (or cooked and cooled) wraps tightly in plastic wrap and foil, then freeze for up to 2 months.

  • Reheating: Reheat in a skillet or air fryer to restore crispiness. Avoid microwaving if possible, as it can make the wraps soggy.

  • Meal Prep: Assemble the wraps and refrigerate uncooked up to 24 hours in advance. Cook fresh when ready to serve.

  • Avoid Overstuffing: If prepping ahead, don’t overfill the wraps—this keeps them from bursting or getting soggy during storage.
