Description

If you’re looking for a quick and luxurious side dish that pairs perfectly with steak, chicken, or pasta, these Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms are a must-try. Sautéed in buttery garlic and coated in a luscious cream sauce with parmesan and cream cheese, this recipe delivers restaurant-quality flavor in just 10 minutes. Perfect for weeknights or special occasions, these mushrooms are irresistibly rich, creamy, and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces white mushrooms, whole or sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter and olive oil.
  2. Add the mushrooms and garlic, then sauté until the mushrooms are tender and slightly golden.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the sauce becomes smooth and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve your Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms immediately while warm and silky. They pair beautifully with grilled steak, roasted chicken, creamy pasta, or even spooned over toast or baked potatoes. For gatherings, keep them warm in a slow cooker on the lowest setting to maintain the sauce’s creamy texture. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, do so gently over low heat on the stovetop, stirring occasionally. If the sauce thickens, add a splash of heavy cream or milk to bring back its smooth consistency. Avoid freezing, as the cream sauce may separate.
