Description

Cinnamon Roll Bites are the perfect treat when you’re craving something sweet, warm, and comforting but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. With a prep time of just 10 minutes and a total time of 24 minutes, this recipe delivers all the cozy flavors of classic cinnamon rolls in a fun, bite-sized form. They’re ideal for breakfast, dessert, or a snack and are made using simple ingredients you likely already have at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated flaky jumbo buttermilk biscuits
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • ½ cup cream cheese frosting
  • 12 tablespoons whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Open the biscuit can and cut each biscuit into six equal pieces using a pizza cutter or kitchen scissors.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon until evenly combined.
  4. Place biscuit pieces in the bowl or a large zip-top bag and toss gently to coat with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Spread coated biscuit pieces in a single layer in the prepared pan.
  6. Pour melted butter evenly over the biscuits.
  7. Bake for 16–20 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  8. Allow to cool for 10–15 minutes while preparing the frosting.
  9. Mix cream cheese frosting with 1–2 tablespoons of milk until smooth and pourable.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll bites and let it set for 2–3 minutes.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Serving Tips

  • Serve Cinnamon Roll Bites warm for the best flavor and texture, as the glaze will be slightly melty and the biscuits soft.
  • Pair them with a hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate for a cozy breakfast or snack.
  • Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a decadent dessert.
  • Arrange them on a platter with toothpicks for an easy-to-grab party treat.

Storage Tips

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • To reheat, warm in the microwave for 15–20 seconds or in a 300°F oven for 5–7 minutes until soft and heated through.
  • If freezing, allow the Cinnamon Roll Bites to cool completely, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and place in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
