Cinnamon Butter

  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

If you’ve ever been to Texas Roadhouse, you’ve likely fallen in love with their famous cinnamon butter. This homemade version captures that same irresistible flavor—sweet, creamy, and perfectly spiced. With just four simple ingredients and five minutes of prep time, you can whip up this smooth and fluffy spread that tastes amazing on everything from toast to pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup regular salted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place the butter, powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  2. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure everything is evenly blended.
  4. Beat again until the butter is perfectly light, fluffy, and well-combined.
  5. Spoon the cinnamon butter into a large ramekin or two 4-ounce glass jars.

Notes

    • Serving: This cinnamon butter tastes best when served at room temperature so it spreads smoothly. Use it to top warm muffins, pancakes, cornbread, toast, biscuits, or even baked sweet potatoes. It also pairs beautifully with banana slices or apple wedges for a quick sweet snack.
    • Storage: Store in an airtight container or glass jar at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, refrigerate it for up to 2 weeks.
    • Freezing: You can freeze cinnamon butter for up to 3 months. Thaw it overnight in the refrigerator and bring it to room temperature before serving.
    • Tip: For gifting, place the butter in small jars, label them, and tie with ribbon — perfect for holidays or brunch baskets.
