Ingredients
- 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls or a crescent dough sheet
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 cooked chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 8 slices deli ham
Honey Dijon Sauce (optional):
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F. Prepare a pie pan or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray, or line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove crescent rolls from the can and lay out in a long rectangle, pinching seams together. If using a crescent dough sheet, roll it out flat.
- Sprinkle the dough evenly with Italian seasoning.
- Layer Swiss cheese, chicken, and ham on top of the dough.
- Roll the dough like a cinnamon roll, tucking the ingredients inside, and pinch the seam to seal. Cut into 8 to 10 rolls.
- Transfer rolls to the prepared baking dish or baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- For the Honey Dijon Sauce, mix honey and Dijon mustard in a small bowl and serve alongside the rolls if desired.
Notes
-
- Serve warm with the optional Honey Dijon Sauce for dipping.
- For a complete meal, pair with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables.
- Leftover rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350Β°F for 5-7 minutes to keep the crescent rolls crisp.
- Rolls can be frozen before baking; wrap individually in plastic wrap and foil, then bake directly from frozen, adding 5 extra minutes to the cooking time.
