This dish is a crowd-pleaser, making it an excellent choice for family dinners or potlucks. Not only is it packed with flavor, but it’s also easy to prepare, ensuring a stress-free cooking experience.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 lb chicken, boneless/skinless, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet dry Ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz pasta (shells recommended)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt/pepper, to taste
  • 14.5 oz Alfredo sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9 x 9 baking dish.
  2. Cook Bacon: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook bacon until crispy, about 7 minutes. Drain grease and place bacon on paper towel to absorb remaining grease.
  3. Prepare Chicken: In a gallon-size Ziploc bag, add olive oil, diced chicken (raw), and Ranch mix. Shake to coat thoroughly. Add chicken to skillet and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Cook Pasta: In a pot of boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Drain water and add pasta to the greased baking dish.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Add cooked chicken and Alfredo sauce to the pasta. Sprinkle both cheeses, bacon, and salt/pepper over the top.
  6. Bake: Place dish into preheated oven. Bake until bubbly and cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
  7. Serve: Remove from oven and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Serving Tips:

  • Side Dishes: Serve your Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole with a crisp green salad, steamed vegetables, or garlic bread to complement the rich flavors of the dish.
  • Garnish: Add a sprinkle of fresh parsley or green onions on top of the casserole for a burst of color and a touch of freshness.
  • Portion Control: For a more elegant presentation, serve individual portions in ramekins or small baking dishes.

Storage Tips:

  • Refrigeration: Store any leftover casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Ensure it’s fully cooled before refrigerating to maintain the best texture and flavor.
  • Freezing: To freeze, place the casserole in a freezer-safe container or wrap it tightly with aluminum foil and plastic wrap. Freeze for up to 3 months. For best results, thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
  • Reheating: Reheat the casserole in the oven at 350°F until warmed through, about 20-25 minutes. You can also reheat individual portions in the microwave, covered with a microwave-safe lid, for 2-3 minutes or until hot.
