Description

If you’re searching for the perfect easy weeknight dinner, these Cheesy Chicken Garlic Wraps hit the mark. With golden, juicy chicken, loads of melted cheese, and a rich, creamy garlic sauce, all wrapped in a crispy tortilla—this dish is simple to prepare and incredibly satisfying. Whether served for lunch or dinner, this recipe delivers restaurant-quality flavor in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas

Garlic Sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for 6–8 minutes or until the chicken is golden and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Adjust garlic to taste for a stronger or milder flavor.

  • Lay the tortillas flat. Spread about 1 tablespoon of garlic sauce on each tortilla.

  • Evenly distribute the cooked chicken and sprinkle both types of cheese over the top.

  • Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll tightly into a wrap.

  • Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place each wrap seam-side down and toast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Serving Tips
Serve the Cheesy Chicken Garlic Wraps hot right off the skillet for the crispiest texture and best flavor. Slice them in half diagonally for a clean presentation. Pair with extra garlic sauce, ranch dressing, or salsa for dipping. A side of coleslaw, mixed greens, or roasted vegetables rounds out the meal beautifully.

Storage Tips
Let any leftover wraps cool completely before storing. Wrap each individually in foil or place them in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best results, reheat in a skillet or air fryer to regain that crispy texture—microwaving is convenient but may cause the wrap to become soft. Freezing is also possible; wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil, freeze for up to 2 months, and reheat from frozen in the oven or air fryer.
