Ingredients
For the Egg Rolls:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 slices American cheese
- ½ cup chopped dill pickles
- 16 egg roll wrappers
For the Dipping Sauce:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon dill pickle juice
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
Instructions
- Add ground beef to a large skillet over medium heat, crumbling it as it cooks. Cook until no longer pink.
- Drain the beef and return it to the skillet.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, seasoned salt, onion powder, and garlic powder, mixing well over low heat.
- Lay the slices of American cheese over the meat mixture, turn off the heat, cover the skillet, and let the cheese melt for 3–4 minutes.
- Remove the lid, add chopped dill pickles, and mix to combine.
- Add about 1/4 cup of the cheeseburger filling onto each egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, brushing the top corner with water to seal. Repeat with all wrappers.
- Lightly spray each egg roll with oil.
- Place egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Cook at 390°F for 7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- To make the dipping sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle juice, and seasoned salt.
- Serve the egg rolls hot with the dipping sauce.
Notes
Serving: Serve Cheeseburger Egg Rolls hot and crispy straight from the air fryer. Pair them with the included dipping sauce or additional favorites like ranch, fry sauce, barbecue sauce, or spicy mayo. They work well as an appetizer, party snack, or even a fun dinner.
Storing: Store cooled egg rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–5 minutes until crispy again. Avoid microwaving, as it softens the wrapper.
Freezing: You can freeze the egg rolls before air frying. Assemble, freeze on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag. Air fry straight from frozen at 390°F for 10–12 minutes.
