Candied Sweet Potatoes

  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

Candied Sweet Potatoes are a classic comfort side dish that brings together the natural sweetness of tender sweet potatoes with a rich, buttery brown sugar glaze. This dish is perfect for family dinners, holidays, or anytime you want something warm and satisfying that feels like a dessert but serves as a side. The caramelized coating enhances the flavor and gives each bite a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

  4. In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, water, and salt
  5. Bring mixture to a boil while stirring frequently
  6. Let it boil for 5 minutes until slightly thickened

  8. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes
