Description

If you’re looking for a delicious, satisfying, and wholesome dinner that’s easy enough for busy weeknights but impressive enough for guests, this Caesar Chicken with Asparagus recipe is your answer. Tender chicken breasts are seasoned and baked in creamy Caesar dressing, then paired with crisp asparagus and a touch of Parmesan to bring everything together. This dish offers big flavor with minimal effort and delivers a balanced meal that’s both comforting and elegant.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

How to Make Caesar Chicken with Asparagus

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a large baking dish or sheet pan.

Step 2: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned but not cooked through.

Step 3: Transfer the seared chicken to the prepared baking dish. Pour the Caesar dressing over the chicken, ensuring each breast is well coated.

Step 4: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the chicken.

Step 5: Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the chicken in the baking dish. Drizzle lightly with olive oil or additional Caesar dressing if desired.

Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the asparagus is tender.

Step 7: Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve with lemon wedges for a burst of brightness.

Notes

Serving Tips:
Serve Caesar Chicken with Asparagus hot from the oven while the sauce is creamy and the asparagus is tender. Pair it with a simple starch like garlic mashed potatoes, wild rice, or a slice of crusty bread to soak up the flavorful Caesar-Parmesan sauce. For a lighter option, serve it over a bed of arugula or mixed greens for a warm salad-style dinner.

Storage Tips:
Allow leftovers to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the chicken and asparagus in a baking dish, cover with foil, and warm in a 325°F oven for 10–15 minutes, or microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through. For best texture, avoid freezing, as the creamy Caesar dressing may separate when thawed.
