Description

Start your day with a delicious twist on a classic favorite: Breakfast Pizza! This savory delight combines fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, flavorful sausage, and a medley of cheeses, all on a golden, flaky crust. Perfect for busy mornings, weekend brunches, or anytime you crave a comforting breakfast treat, this pizza will quickly become a household favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Unroll the pizza crust and press it into a greased 15×10-inch baking pan, forming a crust. Brush the surface with olive oil and bake for 7 minutes.

2. Scramble the Eggs
While the crust bakes, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the egg mixture and cook, stirring frequently, until the eggs are scrambled and just set. Remove from heat.

3. Assemble the Pizza
Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the pre-baked crust. Top with the cooked sausage and bacon. Sprinkle a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses across the top.

4. Bake to Perfection
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 6–8 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the crust is golden brown.

5. Add the Finishing Touches
Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle the sliced green onions over the top, cut into squares, and serve warm.

Notes

Serving Tips

  • Best Served Fresh: Breakfast Pizza tastes best when served warm straight from the oven. The melty cheese, crispy crust, and warm toppings make for an irresistible bite.
  • Pair with Beverages: Complement this dish with a cup of coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, or a refreshing smoothie for a complete breakfast experience.
  • Customize the Toppings: For a personalized touch, set up a topping bar with additional ingredients like hot sauce, fresh herbs, or diced tomatoes for guests to add to their slices.
  • Cut for Convenience: Use a pizza cutter to slice the pizza into squares or rectangles, making it easy to serve and enjoy.

Storage Tips

  • Refrigeration: Store leftover Breakfast Pizza in an airtight container or wrap it tightly with plastic wrap. It will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing: For longer storage, freeze the pizza slices individually. Wrap them in plastic wrap and aluminum foil, or place them in a freezer-safe bag. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months.
  • Reheating: To reheat, place a slice in a preheated oven at 350°F for 8–10 minutes until warmed through. Alternatively, use a microwave for a quicker option, though the crust may not stay as crisp.
