Description

Brazilian Lemonade – A Refreshing Summer Drink
Brazilian Lemonade is a unique and irresistible twist on the classic lemonade, offering a creamy, tangy, and sweet flavor that is perfect for hot summer days. Unlike traditional lemonade made with lemons, this Brazilian favorite uses fresh limes blended with sweetened condensed milk, creating a smooth and refreshing drink with a tropical flair

Ingredients

  • 3 quartered fresh limes
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the quartered fresh limes, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and cold water.
  2. Blend until smooth, making sure the limes are fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the mixture through a strainer into a pitcher to remove the lime pulp.
  4. Serve immediately over ice for the best flavor and freshness.

Notes

Serving

  • Serve Brazilian Lemonade immediately after preparing for the freshest flavor and creamiest texture.
  • Always pour it over plenty of ice to keep it cold and refreshing.
  • Garnish with thin lime slices or a sprig of mint for an extra touch of freshness and visual appeal.
  • This drink pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, seafood dishes, or light summer salads.

Storage

  • Because Brazilian Lemonade contains fresh limes and sweetened condensed milk, it’s best enjoyed the same day it’s made.
  • If you must store it, keep it in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • Stir well before serving again, as separation may occur during storage.
  • Avoid freezing, as the texture and flavor can change once thawed
