Avocado Deviled Eggs

  • Author: Lusine Svetlana

Description

Avocado Deviled Eggs are a fresh and creamy twist on the classic appetizer. With avocado adding rich flavor and healthy fats, this recipe is perfect for anyone following a keto, gluten-free, or low-carb lifestyle. They’re easy to prepare, ready in just 10 minutes, and always a hit at parties, potlucks, or holiday spreads.

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, cooked, cooled, and peeled
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Paprika, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  2. Place yolks in a small bowl and mash together with avocado until smooth.
  3. Stir in lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt, and garlic powder until creamy.
  4. Spoon or pipe the avocado mixture into the egg whites.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish and serve.

Notes

  • Serve chilled on a platter with fresh herbs or veggie sticks for added presentation.
  • Best enjoyed fresh on the same day for maximum flavor and bright avocado color.
  • If storing, cover tightly with plastic wrap (pressing directly on the filling to limit browning) and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
  • Avoid freezing, as the avocado mixture does not hold up well once thawed.
