Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (or any good melting cheese like American, Gruyere, or Gouda)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter


Instructions

  1. Lay out 4 slices of sourdough bread and place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on two of the bread slices. Top with the remaining slices of bread to make two sandwiches.
  2. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and softened butter. Mix until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly on the outer sides of each sandwich.
  3. Place the sandwiches into your air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 360°F and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 5 minutes or until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted perfectly.
