Packed with seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, melted cheese, and creamy sauces, this handheld wrap is crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. Made in the air fryer, it’s quick, convenient, and perfect for a weeknight dinner or casual meal.
Ingredients
- 5 large tortillas
- 1 pound ground beef
- ⅓ cup water
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- ⅔ cup nacho cheese sauce
- 4 tostadas or 2 cups tortilla chips
- ⅔ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheese blend
- Vegetable oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Brown the ground beef in a large pan over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat, add ⅓ cup water and taco seasoning, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cut one tortilla into quarters; warm the remaining four tortillas in the microwave for 20 seconds.
- Place ¼ cup of beef in the center of a tortilla.
- Top with nacho cheese sauce, a tostada or tortilla chips, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Place a quartered tortilla piece in the center and fold the tortilla around it to seal.
- Brush the outside with vegetable oil and place seam side down in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until crispy and heated through.
