Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, stirring well.
  4. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips evenly.
  6. Shape the dough into a large ball and flatten slightly to about 4 inches in diameter.
  7. Place a piece of parchment paper in the air fryer basket and put the cookie dough in the center. Leave space for spreading.
  8. Air fry for 5 minutes.
  9. Let the cookie cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve the cookie warm for a soft and gooey texture.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes for a fresh-baked taste
